Crownpoint Rug Auction
Navajo weavers and Crownpoint community members have formed a new weavers' association to continue the historic tradition of selling Navajo rugs at auction in Crownpoint, New Mexico.
The first New Crownpoint Rug Auction will be held at the Crownpoint Elementary School. Weavers may submit their rugs and vendors may set up beginning at 4:00 pm, rug submissions will end at 6:30 pm, and the auction will begin at 7:00 pm. Navajo tacos and other food will be available to purchase at the auction.
Ramah Farmers Market
Our Farmers’ Market is located in Ramah N.M. off of Hwy 53 . Ramah is a small, town located south of Ramah Lake, which is the town’s source of irrigation water. The population of Ramah and the surrounding area is around 2700 and the elevation is between 7000 and 7800 ft. Ramah is between the Zuni and Ramah Navajo Reservations. The Market is 45 miles from Gallup, 48 miles from Grants, 20 miles from Zuni Pueblo, and 25 miles from the town of Pine Hill on the Ramah Navajo Reservation.
